About Your Clinical Rotation

We are contracted with two clinical location sites to make sure our students don't lack the opportunity to have real time, hands-on experience.  

Upon completion of the classroom training, students will begin the second part of the program which consists of a clinical rotation (externship). During the clinical rotation, students will work directly with patients in a health care facility. You will be supervised by a Nurse, who is a staff member of our school and is also licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and authorized by the NATCEP as an instructor. Also, during your externship, you will work side by side with other Aides, Nurses and licensed medical professionals. 

SCHEDULE

Clinicals hours are 6 am to 2 pm. Students report to clinical site at 5:45 am.

Clinical rotations will run for one full week: Monday through Friday.
